Thai Dipping Sauce

Yield:Yields a scant 1/2 cup.

This sweet-sour-salty dipping sauce is a pungent counterpart to the coolFresh Shrimp Spring Rolls. Tamarind concentrate is available in jars at Asian groceries. As a substitute, use cherry juice concentrate, available in health food stores, or a bit of orange marmalade and fresh lemon juice.

This dipping sauce is sooo good! It tasted authentic! I highly recommend this for the FRESH SHRIMP ROLLS 'coz they totally go together. Yummmmm... :-)

Very good with the spring rolls. I have also use the recipe on Butter lettuce with Strawberries and almond for a fat free salad. It is delicious and I use it a lot.
