I find that the metal squeeze-type lemon juicers are best for getting the most juice, but sometimes the thickness of the fruit’s skin can make it difficult to squeeze. I’ve discovered that slicing off a bit from each end of the lemon, before cutting it in half to put in the juicer, makes it much easier to squeeze.
