Chicken wings are just what they sound like. Fried, roasted or grilled, they make a fabulous appetizer. Their most famous dish is Buffalo wings, which originated in a bar in Buffalo: deep fried wings slathered in hot sauce and served with a blue cheese dip.

How to prep:

You can cook the wings whole or split them into pieces. To split them use a sharp chef’s knife to split the wings at the joints, saving the middle section and drummette for grilling. You can reserve the wing tips to add to a stock.
